And you know why? Someone has hacked them. Oh yes, I love hackers.

OK, I don’t. I am angry that they don’t have anything better to do than hack a forum site them spam people with email. Though I am not sure this has even happened, I got a report that it did. I never got any emails.

Anyway, except for Miwa posting now and again, there is no traffic here.

If any of you want a place to share thoughts, we could probably use Google Wave. I have invites. There we can post messages and notes and we (I) don’t have to worry about hosting issues.

1. I am freezing down here in Florida. I can’t imagine how the rest of you are doing. Then again, your homes are meant to heat in this cold and you probably have warm clothes.

2. The boys go back to school on Monday. Happy Birthday to me!

3. I’ll start putting together some kits or collections to start selling here on the blog.

Do you have your gifts bought, wrapped?

I have most of the gifts bought. I need to get some gift cards unless I decide on cash. And I have about half of them wrapped. I only have a few days left with the boys in school so I can wrap freely.

Christmas cards are out. Not getting many in return.

I should have been having a sale today. It was my intent. Then those darned hackers set up shop. grrr…

Did you go shopping on Friday?

I don’t deal well with crowds. I really prefer shopping from the safety and comfort of my home. I did order a Christmas gift from Apple and it arrived today.

Did you find any deals today?

I have seen some things. In fact, I ordered some shoes for Andy & me from ShoeBuy.

I really haven’t looked at scrapbooking items seeing as I have a living room full of stuff. What have you seen that you have to have?

Now that we are no longer a “store”, feel free to post about sales and deals you find from other online and brick & mortar stores.

And I will be looking at selling lots of stuff, about a flat rate box full, after the holidays.

I am afraid isn’t good.

The hackers were back again. Apparently they were getting in a back door they made during one of their first hacks. And unfortunately I do not possess the skills to find the problematic files. Nor do I want to employ a web developer to do the work especially when the store had not been earning any money.

I have closed the store for good. I will be liquidating all merchandise in the coming months with garage sales. I certainly did not expect to end this way but the frustration was just too much for me.

I wish I had more to say right now but I am doing my best not to break down. It’s been a hell of an evening.

There were a few requests to reopen the boards. I hope people will use them. I may not show up everyday, but I am around.

Basically, I will be rebuilding the store. After the last attack, I decided to start fresh. OK, there wasn’t really another choice. Anyway, I need to reimport the database and redo the customization.

When the store is back up, we’ll have a sale to celebrate.

Last night, linnecards site was hacked and used as a phishing site against a bank in England. Our host quickly shut it down but now I have to do some maintenance to prevent this from happening again.

Customer information is encrypted and was not compromised as far as I know.

You may see the store up and down for the next few days as I work through the bugs.
